The collection of plants consisting of five varieties bursts into bloom in May. The mostly yellow-flowered rhododendrons, more specifically known as azaleas, after which the valley was named, send out an intoxicating scent. Next to the Azalea Valley, in the 24 hectare area named Kígyó (Snake) Valley and Róka (Fox) Valley, naturalised tree varieties make the area feel like an arboretum. In the valley are mainly exotic pines, redwood, ordinary pine, Caucasian fir, Japanese larch, green and blue Douglas fir varieties.
